Hello friends we are again here with our new review and this time it is OPPO F17, small brother of Oppo F17 PRO. We have already done the big brother, Oppo F17 Pro's review, if you haven't seen yet then please go down and click on link provided. So coming back to the product, it has very different in-hand feel and to know it, please stay tuned.
At first the box contents, we get to see the Smartphone itself, a decent case, basic documents, a 30W VOOC charger, a pair of earphones(Yes.. it is there 😀), and a Type-C Cable.
The phone at first look is like a leather cover and trust me its very classy and cool, specially teenagers will definitely love it. The phone's structure is boxy and the corners are sharp. It is 7.45mm thick which is insane, Oppo had done a great to push the thickness in such a low level. And I am saying again but it definately feels very different and it weighs only around 165 grams and it is very lightweight.
Ports and Buttons :
1. Below you get 3.5mm Jack, a Microphone, a Type-C port and the speaker.
2. Above a Noise Cancellation Mic
3. At the right side you get the Volume rocker and the Sim Tray with dedicated SD Card slot
4. At the left, you get the Power On/Off button.
The display is amazing and it is very bright. Bezzels are thin and it comes with a water drop notch and it has 90.7% Screen to Body ratio. 6.44" FHD+ OLED Display with normal 60Hz refresh rate. It has a Qualcomm. Snapdragon 662 processor. It comes with 4015 battery with 30W fast charging and Oppo claims that it will charge 70% battery in just 30 minutes. It has LPDDR4X Ram and UFS 2.1 Storage. The processor is just average, can't expect much high end stuff but on daily use it is fluent. It comes out with about 1,83,000 Antutu score which is slightly low regarding the price.
Talking about the Camera :
Rear - 1. 8MP (f/2.2) Ultrawide (119° FOV).
2. 16MP (f/1.8) Main.
3. 2MP Mono.
4. 2MP Mono.
Front - 16MP (f/2.0) Selfie Camera
Camera app is filled with features and they had done a good work with AI as well. Photos are slightly on the lower side. It comes with Colour OS 7.2 which is based on Android 11. There are some bloatware but can be removed easily. There are all sensors with a in-Display fingerprint sensor because of the OLED Screen. It has all common connectivity options like Dual 4G Volte, VO Wi-fi, Wi-fi 5.0 and F.M. Radio as well. And also the Wide Vine L1 as well HD videos in Netflix, Camera to API's support was also there.
It comes in three colours Navy Blue, Dynamic Orange and Classic Silver in which my favourite is Orange.
It comes in two varients
1. 6GB/128GB - Rs 17,999
2. 8GB/128GB - Rs 19,999
In this price, the would have been better and Camera needs some fixes other than that for looks, its absolutely the killer smartphone.
